Our Team

Joel Deis, PE

PRESIDENT / PRINCIPAL ENGINEER

Joel is a registered professional engineer in 14 states across the Western US. He is your go-to partner for structural design work. His primary focus is on tower structure and foundation design, but his experience spans from zip line structures to retaining walls. Whether you are looking to analyze your existing foundation, plan needed repairs, or have a new project to design and build from scratch, Joel will help you every step of the way. You will also enjoy working with Joel as he communicates openly and effectively.

Joel is a family man as well. He has a lovely wife, two young boys and a special dog. Joel enjoys spending weekends camping and kayaking. He stays in shape by waking up early to row and stays healthy by specializing in home-cooked Neapolitan pizzas. Even though he is an amazingly effective and brilliant project manager and structural engineer, that definition does not do him justice.

Bryce Engen

DESIGNER

With an extensive and varied work history, Bryce brings a broad knowledge base and experience portfolio to our team and clients. Educated in the field of Aerospace Engineering, Bryce has worked with high-speed trains on the East Coast, Rail Transit projects on the West Coast, and a few oversees infrastructure projects. He is an experienced project manager. Heck, he’s even been a high school math teacher. His numerous skills include computer-aided modeling and design, structural analysis, concrete and steel design, and construction oversight. He is both detail-oriented and a pleasure to work with. An avid rock climber, skier and mountain biker, Bryce is also a certified tower climber. He safely and skillfully works at heights and is ready to assist others as needed. His recent work involves new tower site design, ground system design, foundation design, structural analysis for obsolete towers, and tower mod designs for towers carrying additional equipment.
